　 2本並んだ注口の下に鳥の頭部が表わされ、広げた翼、胴体、尾、脚が、壺の胴部に刻まれています。刻線や列点による細やかな羽毛の表現が見られます。丸い目をした優しい顔立ちの鳥ですが、脚には猛禽のような鋭い鉤爪があります。
　同じような注口付土器で、人間の姿が表わされたものも知られています。

　This vessel has a double spout and a handle.A bird’s head is modeled at the bottom of the spout, and its wings are shown with incised lines on the body of the vessel.
　A similar pottery ewer with a human figure is also known.
